How this happened.

I know it dosn’t look like it… but this photoshoot was planned at the last minute and I was not prepared for this amount of epic. Let me take you on this photo journey. From time to time when I take small journeys I try to setup shoots in the area to fill my time since I know I might not get that time again there, and working with people from different areas will really help get the word out about my brand. This shoot started out as just that.

I was shooting a very good friend of mines band that night in Eureka springs so in order to fill out the rest of the day I got in touch with my good friend at Ozark Talent Bank. We setup 3 shoots for just some basic head shots for there portfolios and I knew that would fill out my time.

Upon arriving at Crystal Bridges for the first shoot it had started to barely rain and that’s when I got a message saying “Hey we got a designers dress”. Usually in my kit for doing outdoor photography is just a simple 2 point wireless kit that will allow me to use the sun as a fill light so that’s what I was banking on. So doing anything indoors may be a bit on the harsher side. Ozark talent bank was able to get me into Crystal Bridges with 2 amazing models to photograph part of there Fashion shows showcase dresses at the last minute.. and boy did these photos turn out.

We took these photos in the Great Hall that was surprisingly empty since they were setting up for a new showcase. Also surprisingly they just so happened to be working with the lighting in the room and had several spot lights that they were testing. I was able to work with them to help soften up the room a bit by spotting directly overhead and hitting several spots on the background to help pull the subject out of the back and be able to let my camera capture as much detail as possible. In the end these photos came back absolutely stunning and I am forever grateful for the amazing opportunity it was to work with Crystal Bridges and the Ozark Talent Bank. Enjoy these handful of photos I was able to capture in the time I had with these amazing people.
